A lone pilot strides across his ship to deliver an item that will change a planet forever...

When I started this piece, I knew that I really wanted to explore the use of a graphic background, and set up the red glass in such a way as to also help silhouette the main character. I also focused on letting a lot of the elements fade into obscurity, and tried to create details with only the minimum of indication. It was really important to me to work out the lighting in order to give just a hint of light on the robe, which ultimately attracts your eye due to the contrast with the darkness.
